The City of Moundsville's Police Department has a staff of sixteen full-time officers and one Chief. The Police cover the city 24/7/365. The Police can be reached by calling 304-845-1611.
The City of Moundsville has a paid professional Fire Department with a staff of five, working from 8 AM - 4 PM Monday through Friday (including holidays). The city partners and contracts with the Moundsville Volunteer Fire Department for coverage on all other hours. The Fire Department can be reached at 304-845-2050.
The City also partners with the Marshall County Office of Emergency Management (OEM), who is tasked with coordinating response to disasters and other major emergencies across the county. The agency’s dedicated staff monitors the county for all-hazards and emergencies that may occur within our own boundaries or incidents from other areas that may affect our county. The OEM coordinates response of local, county, state and federal response to disasters and major emergencies.
