The Moundsville Sanitation Dept. is under the direction of the Public Works Director. The Sanitation Dept. is responsible for both residential and commercial trash collection. The City of Moundsville Sanitation Department is not permitted to transport hazardous materials. Any items appearing as hazardous materials will be left at curbside. The proper authorities will be notified.

On the weeks that these holidays occur, garbage pick-up will be delayed one day for the days after the holiday.
