John Marshall High School Sports

John Marshall High School - Home of the Monarchs!

John Marshall High School, Marshall County’s largest 9-12 school is located in nearby Glen Dale, WV.  However, the John Marshall Fieldhouse (home to Boys and Girls Basketball, and Wrestling), and Monarch Stadium (home to Football, Soccer, and Lacrosse), are located in Moundsville along Route 2.  The stadium underwent a complete remodel in 2018-2019, including the addition of a turf field, new restroom/concessions building, locker rooms, bleachers, and press box - making it one of the premier stadiums in the area.  Additionally, the field is used for youth sports activities and community events.
