Moundsville Council Convenes in Person for First Time in Months
Posted 06/03/20MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. — Moundsville City Council members met in person for the first time in months Tuesday night.
The regular meeting was conducted inside council chambers with limits on the number of people in the room. City leaders say social distancing protocols are in effect.
"We're limiting the number of people in council chambers to a maximum of about 25,” City manager Rick Healy explained. “We're continuing to space out our council members by about every other chair. We're also marking the seats in the audience where social distance seats. We have room for about 10 or 11 visitors to come into council at any time.” During the meeting, council members approved a proposal to accept bids of improvements at the Four Seasons Pool.
