FIREFIGHTERS’ CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION

APPLICATIONS BEING ACCEPTED FOR TESTING

The City of Moundsville Firefighters Civil Service Commission will be conducting an examination for the position of Probationary Firefighter. Results will be used to compile an eligibility list for future positions.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years of age.  Starting wage is $44,387 and includes a generous benefit package. Benefits include: paid health insurance, sick days, holidays, life insurance, vacation and pension plan. Some are subject to a probationary period.

Application forms and exam information are available at the Moundsville City Building at the Office of the City Clerk, 800 Sixth Street, Moundsville, WV 26041 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. (304) 845-3394 or online at www.cityofmoundsville.com.  Applications must be completed and returned to the Clerk’s Office by July 23rd at 4:00 P.M. No applications will be accepted after this time. 

The Physical Exam will take place at the following place and time:

Location: Valley Fork Boys Ball Field, 12th Street

Saturday August 1st

Beginning promptly at 10:00 A.M.
