HELP WANTED - The City of Moundsville is accepting applications for an upcoming vacancy in the Building Inspection Department. The ideal candidate will possess applicable certifications or is willing to obtain certifications.

The candidate will be responsible for taking resident property maintenance complaints, inspections, meeting with residents, issuing citations and warnings, handling zoning matters, and other various related duties. The office is located at Moundsville City Building, but the job requires travel throughout the City of Moundsville to inspect and review various complaints and properties. Limited overnight travel for training is also expected.  The candidate must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. The candidate must be willing to consent to and pass a background check and drug screening.  Position includes a lucrative benefit package including paid health, dental, and vision insurance; life insurance; paid vacation; sick time; and a matching retirement saving plan, among other benefits.
