Boil Order Placed

Please be advised that a 48 hour boil order is in effect for List Avenue and Hickory Avenue from Arlington Avenue to First Street in Moundsville.

Water service had to be shut off on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026 to repair a break in the 6 inch main waterline located at Hickory Avenue and List Avenue. The customers affected are all of List Avenue, and Hickory Avenue from First Street to Arlington Avenue.

The Maintenance/Distribution Crew are on site to make the repair and water service will be returned to the customers as quickly as possible.

For our customer’s protection, a 48 hour boil order is in place following the restoration of water service until sample results are received from the lab in Wheeling. Notification will be sent out as soon as the boil order is lifted.
