Boil Order Placed

Please be advised there is a water valve leak on Eighth Street.

Water service will be shut off on Eighth Street from Ash Avenue to Henrietta Avenue so the valve can be repaired.

A 48 hour boil order will be in place with the restoration of water service.

Water service will be shut off today, Thursday, May 21, 2026 on Eighth Street from Ash Avenue to Henrietta Avenue. Moundsville Water Board Maintenance Crew are on site making needed repairs to the leaking water valve on Eighth Street and will return water service to all customers as quickly as possible.

For our customer’s protection, a 48 hour boil order is in place following the restoration of water service until water quality sample results are received from the lab in Wheeling. Notification will be sent out as soon as the boil order is lifted.
