Boil Order Issued

Please be advised that a 48 hour boil order is in effect for Myrtle Avenue from Seventh Street to the Fairgrounds in Moundsville.

Water service had to be shut off on Myrtle Avenue so the Moundsville Water Board Maintenance Crew could repair a break in the 2 inch main waterline on Myrtle Avenue between Seventh Street and the Fairgrounds.

The Maintenance Crew is making the needed repair and will return water service to all customers as quickly as possible.

For our customers’ protection, a 48 hour boil order is in place following the restoration of water service until sample results are received from the lab in Wheeling. Notification will be sent out as soon as the boil order is lifted.
