After careful consideration and discussions with the fireworks company, Fire and and Police Chiefs, and the Marshall County Health Department, it was decided that the City of Moundsville will have their annual fireworks display on July 4. There will be no seating areas for the display, and everyone is asked to please stay in or around your cars and practice social distancing. There are multiple areas in the city to view the fireworks, so please take advantage of those areas. Due to saftey reasons, the 12th Street walking trail/baseball complex will be closed to traffic. The Marshall County Fairgrounds will be open to park and watch (the grandstand will not be open). Fireworks will begin at dusk. Please be patient and cautious of all traffic while watching and departing.
